Guardian Incentives
Incentive Calculation
As a Guardian in the Babylon TestNet, you will earn an incentive of 200 MOI Tokens per day for your contribution. These incentives are calculated based on uptime, participation in interaction processing, and data storage. The more actively you engage and contribute, the more rewards you can earn.
The reward distribution structure is as follows:
24h Uptime | Incentive in MOI |
---|---|
> 80% | 200 |
60% to 80% | 150 |
40% to 60% | 100 |
< 40% | 0 |
Watchdog System
The WatchDog system conducts periodic liveliness checks by initiating an RPC call to a randomly selected address in order to retrieve a random balance. Upon successful execution of the call, WatchDog updates its database to indicate that the node is operational and possesses the required data.
Assuming the liveliness checks are conducted on an hourly basis a total of 24 checks will be performed each day. If your node remains consistently available and capable of responding to these checks for at least 80% of the time, you will be rewarded with 200 tokens as a reward.
Checking for Incentives
The incentive information will be refreshed once every 24 hours. As shown above, to view the rewards accumulated
by your node thus far, please refer to the Incentives(KMOI)
column in the
Voyage Guardians section.
